Just a stone's throw from the Appalacian Trail, the Pine Grove Creek Campground is a wilderness refuge. The natural setting allures campers with its lush forests, serene lakes, and charming wildlife.

Located in Pine Grove Furnace State Park, Pine Grove Creek Campground is prime Pennsylvania hiking territory. The campground is not far from the Appalachian trail and shares much of its natural beauty. Fuller and Laurel lakes present ample opportunities for swimming, fishing, and boating. The forest trails can be enjoyed throughout the year--just be sure to pack snowshoes if you plan to visit in the winter!

Hike to the Cumberland Valley Overlook

This hike is steep at points but the climb up the mountain has lots of switchbacks so it isn't just straight up. The hike is beautiful and during the summer there are lots of blackberry and raspberry bushes along the trail that we stopped to snack on.
