Description

Bushkill Falls Loop is an easy hike in eastern Pennsylvania with trails of varying lengths, bringing you to views of 8 different waterfalls.

Bushkill Falls offers visitors a choice of 4 different trails to explore. All trails are very well maintained, making this trip safe for the whole family.

The most rewarding trail is the Red Trail. This route brings you to all 8 of Bushkill's waterfalls. Taking the trail counter-clockwise, you will come across Pennell Falls in less than 1/4 mile. The trail continues to loop around and hit 6 more waterfalls, 2 of my favorites being Bridesmaid's Falls and Bridal Veil Falls. Finally, at the end of the loop you will hit the 8th and most spectacular waterfall; Main Falls.

At the trailhead there is a souvenir/snack building in case you are hungry or care to bring home a trinket.

Bushkill Falls Loop Reviews

Bushkill Falls is a local tourist attraction. They do charge admission and it’s only open April- November. Also make sure to check operating hours before going. The trail starts in a developed area with boardwalks and stairs. You also see Bushkill Falls the largest of the waterfalls right away. It then continues looping around the property and passing a few other falls. The bulk of the trail is more of a traditional walking on dirt trail. While there are some roots and rocks it is nowhere near as rugged as the signs make it out to be. Not sure it’s worth the cost but the falls are prey and it’s a fairly quick and easy hike so will be assessable to hikers at a range of levels

I came here with my family a few times as a kid and remembered enjoying the waterfalls! By the pictures, it looks like it is still worth the visit! Glad to see it was added to The Outbound.

My love surprised me with a weekend getaway to the Delaware Water Gap last fall. Part of that trip was hiking the red trail at Bushkill Falls. It’s definitely touristy but people were very kind and gave me space to do long exposures of the falls. Honestly the day we were there very few people were hiking the red trail so as we moved along it got less crowded. It’s definitely worth the money.

I debated visiting Bushkill Falls at all because I had heard that it was very touristy. Accept the fact that it's touristy and go; it's worth a visit. The waterfalls are gorgeous, and the trails are very well maintained. I took the red trail, and once I got away from the entrance to the park it wasn't crowded at all.

Bushkill has some beautiful waterfalls & very well maintained trails & walkways. Although it's a beautiful outdoor location, it is also a tourist location and is very crowded. That & the fee is why it is 4 stars

Amazing waterfalls, but incredibly busy with a fee to enter the park
