Pine Creek Gorge is home to many beautiful waterfalls, Campbells Run is one of the more accessible locations to find multiple impressive waterfalls.

In order to access Campbells Run, park at the Tiadaghton Pine Creek Rail Trail parking. There are restrooms at this parking lot. The road in does not have winter maintenance and is steep in places. From the parking walk back the rail trail to Campbells Run which comes out between two cabins, a small tract of land on the right side of the run is state land, follow that back into the woods where you should see a small trail.

As you hike back along the run, some bushwhacking may be required, before long you will come to a tributary of Campbells run coming in from the left. At this point, you may want to cross the run, be prepared to get your feet wet.

The tributary has two waterfalls you can explore on way in or the way out.  In order to get to the second of the falls on this tributary, I scrambled up the left side of the first falls. As you continue along Campbells Run, the first waterfall is the beautiful 25 foot Campbells Run Falls, you will notice a small ladder to the top right side. This ladder is how you get to Amphitheater Falls, proceed with caution and care.  (It's unknown who placed the ladder and a possibility it may not always be there.)

After climbing the ladder, continue along the run as it opens into an amphitheater of rock, thus the name for the falls. You will then retrace your steps back to the parking.
