Join Us for a National Parks Benefit Concert at Seattle's Benaroya Hall

The Musical Mountaineers and the Northwest Symphony Orchestra will be playing at Benaroya Hall in Seattle, Washington to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Washington National Park Fund!

We’re so excited for this concert and we'd love to see you there!  Tickets start at just $28.

As The Musical Mountaineers, we don’t announce our sunrise concerts in the wilderness. Anastasia Allison, violin, and myself (Rose Freeman, piano) start hiking at 3:00AM before most people hit the trails in order to respect “Leave No Trace” principals to not disrupt anyone’s wilderness experience. With the help of hand warmers, we play simple hymns and original improvisation as the first rays of dawn begin to paint the crisp mountain air.

When we started carrying a violin and a piano (and the 10 essentials of course) in backpacks in September 2017, we could have only dreamed like this would exist. But now, our music in the mountains is giving back in a very big way at the National Parks at Benaroya Concert on Wednesday, October 24th at 7:30PM!

This concert will benefit the Washington National Parks Fund non-profit organization. We’re excited to collaborate with cinematographer Mitch Pittman (Outbound Explorer) who has created two captivating videos - one that will share our heart behind this adventure and another that will play while we perform. We hope that the video gives you an experience of what it's like to hear us in the mountains! It's our heart's mission to use the powerful combination of music and the wilderness to bring more light into the world.

Also, the Northwest Symphony Orchestra (director Anthony Spain) will perform works including the “New World” symphony by Dvorak and “Entry of the Gods into Valhalla” by Wagner set to visuals by Adrian Wyard.

Let's pack the hall for the parks!
