Hit this in September when the colors truly hit like paintbrush strokes. There are a few sections where the elevation hits you all at once. If you’ve got the legs, 10/10 recommend.

The Firetower is a cool spot! Excellent way to experience Rainier.

The colors here were amazing. Biodiversity was wild. The hole-in-the-wall (despite the pictures posted) can become overrun by other people hoping to enjoy it. Lovely walk on the beach to get there.

Loved this hike with all members of the family. Mother-in-law required breaks at benches along the way. Whole path paved with some single track dirt path for side adventures at the top!

Had a blast on this trail with a few small caveats. The hike down into Badger Valley was gorgeous and in full wildflower bloom in July. The 2 miles or so before reaching Grand Lake (at least when we went) are significantly overgrown - think waist to chest height vegetation and bushwhacking. Mosquitoes were also more intense than usually expected on the pacific coast. Gorgeous campsites all around Grand Lake. Perfect place to see the Milky Way. Views from Grand Pass are the highlight. If we did this again, we might simply do the out and back on Grand Pass.

Fun hike down, but the mystery and discovery of exploring the deeper portions of those falls was incredible.

Forest hills, some overlooks of the Blue Ridge mountains, what more do you need? Not the most dynamic trail, but a good adventure.

Hiked this loop with too much in the pack. So many switchbacks. Would do it again in a heartbeat.

Charlie's Bunion is incredible. Some of the other ridgeline views are incredible. Before that you are walking uphill for miles and then downhill for miles. Grab some friends and have fun!

We started Four Mile Trail at 2:30am to hit Glacier Point at Sunrise. Rested there for an hour or two and continued on the Panorama Trail. Both offer incredible views with ever changing perspectives of the valley. Great way to experience Yosemite if you have the legs for it. Took most of the day.

This is one of the great hikes of Tennessee. Be prepared to traverse long stretches of rock fields on which you’ll need good balance and strong ankles. There’s one steep climb leading to the ridge line that takes you to Raven’s Point, but the elevation change isn’t too bad other than that stretch. Enjoy this one. It’s moderately tough.

We hiked Jackson Flats to Canyon to the trail camp and back down Indian, Doe Ridge, and Ano Nuevo. Fantastic adventure. All the redwoods with no crowds. Great backcountry campsite. Just awesome.

We stopped at this beach after backpacking in Butano State Park. There's a ton of great state beaches to camp along this same highway, but this rock formation is cool. There is a gate closing it in, but there's been some legal battles surrounding the area recently and the state has ruled it's open to the public, so hop on over!
