See 3 beaches (Rodeo, Tennessee, Muir) in a challenging 12 mile hike along the coastal trail.
This hike has beautiful views in the Marin Headlands.
You'll find easy parking in the Rodeo Beach Parking lot if you get there early (by 8:30 am). This hike goes along the Coastal Trail which has a few steep areas as you make your way to Tennessee Beach. The Tennessee Beach has gorgeous dark brown sand.
You'll then cross that beach and make your way to Muir Beach. During this route you'll walk thru the clouds.
We journeyed along the cliff as well so be sure to be careful.
At Muir Beach, it's a bit busier and then you'll do a loop back to Rodeo Beach.
