Local multi-use single track open to mountain bikes in the Oakland hills. Great for new riders and locals looking to ride before and after work.
Joaquin Miller park is home to a great network of single track perfect for riders of all skill levels. The trails are multi-use so it is important to be mindful of hikers, dog walkers and other cyclists. Two of the most technical trails in the park are Cinderella and Chaparral trails. It is best to avoid climbing up these hills seeing as they are the most popular descents. New riders would enjoy a cruise along Sequoia Bayview or Big Trees trails. Highly recommended as a sunset ride because the outside ridge faces the setting sun. Trail distance and elevation vary by route. Trail Map located here:http://www2.oaklandnet.com/oak...
