Description

Added by Mitchell Phun

Enjoy a 360 degree view of San Francisco. This dog friendly spot only requires a quick hike to the top. There's also a swing at the top, which you may have seen on Instagram!

Bernal Heights Park is an excellent week night adventure for those who need an escape from the city. Sit atop this small, grassy peak in peace and look out over the San Francisco skyline.

Park on the street bordering the park and follow a pathway that leads up to the top. You will be instantly gratified with the view when you take the last step. There's an open area where it'd be ideal to fly a kite, have a picnic or even do some yoga. A picture perfect spot for views looking all around San Francisco.

Bernal Heights Park Reviews

Bernal Heights Park has a scenic, paved loop around the circumference with dirt paths heading to the top of the hill for 360 degree views of San Francisco. You’ll also see plenty of pups on this dog-friendly trail.

My favorite viewpoint, offering 360 views of the city.

This is my go-to running spot in the city. There are a lot if different paths that cut differently across the hill so you can get a great work out in while running different combinations of paths as to not become “bored”. Regardless, the views are sick.

I feel very fortunate to live in Bernal Heights and my Airbnb guests love the views from the top of the hill and from my balcony.

I went here yesterday. It's been quite a sight to be honest. I caught the sun setting over the breathtaking SF view however please bring bug spray. I went around 8-9pm and those suckers were out on the prowl. Regardless of the big mosquito bites, i've taken the best photos around here without having to deal with all the tourists.

The views are amazing on this dog friendly mini hike, and it's easy to swing by Cortland afterwards for a meal.
