Contemplating the immense beauty that lays in front of me at this very moment.

In addition to all the micro-adventures listed above: mini-golf and awesome kid playground. Also, there is a stage with free music performances throughout the summer. Beautiful park!

If you bypass the main parking lot and keep driving a bit further, there is a smaller parking lot near a stretch of sandy beach which is dog friendly all year round. It is also easier to launch your canoe/kayak/SUP/etc from there: it has direct access to the beach.

Getting up to the top of the Nub is relatively easy, with no scrambling and no climbing involved. Because it is the most accessible peak from the lodge, it can be a bit busy.....but there is room for everyone :)

I made a point of showing up early on a summer morning, at around 6am. This gives you incredible light and the parking lot is not too busy.

I just spent a week in this paradise on earth where I participated in a summer camp with the Alpine Club of Canada. This place is stunning!
