Amazing views about an hour from Knoxville, TN and two hours from Nashville. The campsite is located within hiking distance of quality rock climbing, and its a great spot to camp and then go for a morning trail run. When you're tired from having fun all day, you get the calming sound of the OBED river to put you to sleep.
You will want to park at the Lilly Bluff parking lot. Your GPS won't know where this is, so here are the GPS coordinates N36° 06.162', W84° 43.280'.
The trailhead is located on the North side of the parking lot. All you need to do is follow the sign for Point Trail. The trail culminates at an exposed rocky cliff with great spots for camping and exploring. You will find plenty of great camp spots with amazing views mostly to the right of the trail if you are walking up.
If you arrive at night be careful because the cliff drop offs will sneak up on you! Make sure to bring a headlamp and look down.
