Description

Added by Jared Beeler

A relaxing run or bike next to the beautiful Beaver Creek.

This place is located right in the middle of Halls Crossroads. There are multiple access points along the Greenway. There is the Halls Community Center which is where the GPS of this adventure will lead you or there is a small parking area next to the Halls Food City. There are other entrances from neighborhoods in the area and the Halls Public Library. This is not a loop so more than likely you will run or bike multiple sections multiple times. The entire Greenway is only 1.8 miles but can be done in different sections and can be done multiple times to make the run longer. The entire thing is flat so it is great for biking or running. Most of the Greenway is large and paved so there is no problem biking in groups or running even at busy times. Along part of the Greenway there is a small nature trail that is great for running or for walking dogs. There is a lot of wildlife and wild flowers to be seen along the path. There is also Beaver Creek next to the path so it can be good for kids to play in. This part of the rivershed is protected so please take care of the river and do not dump trash or pollution in the river.
