I grew up biking the Greenbelt! It’s a great place for families to bike! There are some hills, but all are manageable. The trail is about 9 miles long with lots of trail heads, so you can start/stop wherever you want. It is all beautiful especially in the spring!

The Greenbelt is a nice trail through Kingsport to run along or bike. There are multiple trailheads in convenient locations making access super easy. The trail heads I’ve gone to all have a good amount of parking. There are nice views along sections of the trail, but there is usually always the sound of traffic nearby. This trail provides great options to get outside without having to travel too far.

Gray Quarry is a perfect destination for scuba diving in TN! The quarry is about 70 feet deep with ~3 acres of clear water. They have sunk a plane, bus, truck, firetruck, boat, seedoos, and more to the bottom. There is also a large variety of aquatic animals in the quarry. This is an awesome, local place to come explore. You can make reservations to dive at the quarry on their website.
