Description

Added by Bailey Robbins

Boasting more than 160 routes, Kings Bluff offers a range of climbing opportunities for any skill level. Only about 45 minutes from Nashville, this designated climbing spot is every reason to skip the gym and get outside.

Owned and maintained by the Southeastern Climbers Coalition, Kings Bluff hosts a wide variety of established routes ranging from 5.3 to 5.13 in difficulty. To access this climbing area, you must know the gate combination. Upon arrival, you'll see a gate nestled between a couple businesses. Enter the code and drive through to park your vehicle in the cul-de-sac. Once there, you will see a sign at the trailhead.

Enjoy views of the Cumberland River and rolling farmland as you hike down to set up for your first climb. When you run into the limestone, you will see the routes are carefully marked. This area is mainly for sport climbing, but it features a diverse mix of challenges stretching for more than nine acres.

Note: There is currently a sign posted on the gate limiting the area to climbers only due to instances of vandalism.
