Enjoy this small green oasis in the middle of downtown Dallas where you can always find awesome food trucks, epic chess games, and fountains to play in.

Klyde Warren Park spans 5.2 acres over the Woodall Rogers Freeway in downtown Dallas and is a great place to spend an afternoon or Saturday. There are always a series of different food trucks that come and park next to it as well as a cafe located on site. There's plenty of open space, shaded picnic tables, and even a kids play area! Parking can be difficult here- you'll have to find street meter parking or pay for garage parking at either the Dallas Museum of Art or the Dallas Credit Union. Other eco-friendly options are riding your bike or taking the McKinney Avenue Trolley which makes a stop right at the park. You could also take the lightrail which makes it's closest stops at St. Paul Station or District Arts Station. This is a great little park and offers the perfect mid-day escape from the office!

Klyde Warren is a great spot to take the kids or hang out with friends. The food trucks have something for everyone, and the people watching is outstanding. My son has grown up coming here, and even as a teen still enjoys it.

100% Coolest part of this park is the diverse selection of food trucks during weekday lunch hour. Not a bad place to take in the views of downtown Dallas while grabbing a bite to eat. The child's playground is also very unique and a huge hit for our daughter

I lived in Dallas for about a year and loved going to Klyde Warren Park. It has a great environment, good food, and nice restrooms. It's also really close to great coffeeshops like Oak Lawn Coffee, Method, and Houndstooth.

Cattail Pond Loop is a 2.5 mile loop trail with its turning point at Cattail Pond. The trail can also be done starting on the Escarpment Trail (starting from the same parking lot) if you're looking to add some variety. Cattail Pond Loop is located near Cedar Hill, TX.
