A New Perspective: The Great Smoky Mountains

By: The Outbound Collective + Save to a List

The second film from More Than Just Parks is an homage to Great Smoky Mountains National Park, a park with an address in Tennessee, but that straddles the border of Tennessee and North Carolina. This park also has bragging rights as the most visited national park in the United States, according to National Geographic.

In this short film, brothers Will and Jim Pattiz place particular emphasis on the blazing fall foliage that covers these Great Smoky Mountains, part of the larger Blue Ridge Mountain range. Keep an eye out for some spectacular wildlife shots of river otters, wood peckers, and bull elk. Footage was shot with a crew of three, over 15 days and covered over 200 miles.
