From Here to Anywhere: Rent an Adventure Van from Boulder's A-Lodge

Get ready for adventure ahead.

By: The Outbound Collective + Save to a List

Are you ready to hit the road? The Adventure Lodge, Boulder's home-base for adventurous travelers, wants to make your next road trip the best one yet.

The Adventure Lodge, or A-Lodge as it's known, believes in three things: adventure, access, and amenities. They live this mantra at their Boulder accommodations, but they are taking it to a new level with van rentals tailored for the active crowd. A-Lodge partnered with Titan Vans—another local Boulder business—to build Adventure Vans that have everything you need for the perfect road trip in Colorado and beyond.

When the lure of the open road is calling your name, the A-Lodge wants to help you get there. Here's why booking your next road trip in an A-Lodge Adventure Van is the path to good times ahead.

A Van for Every Adventure

The A-Lodge offers a van for every type of adventure. Their Explorer is perfect for those trying out the #vanlife lifestyle: it has a ton of storage and all the amenities you need to live off-the-grid for a few days (or more).

Been dreaming of getting down to Indian Creek for some shoulder season crack climbing? The Explorer is a great choice for you! It has everything you need and will keep you warm and cozy and sleeping well at night. Those who live for adventures on two wheels will love the Cyclist, which has two interior bike racks to keep your gear clean and safe while you're traveling from trail to trail. The Shredder is ideal for those of you chasing the fresh powder...it includes a four-ski rack, furnace, and snow tires to get you where you need to go.

All vans include a stove, sink, water tank, outdoor shower, fridge, 300-watt solar panel, furnace, fan, lighting, cookware, and plenty of storage. Add-ons include a cassette toilet, hammocks, camp chairs, paddleboards, tents, sleeping bags, sleeping pads, and guidebooks. If you don't see the exact configuration you want for your adventure, the A-Lodge can customize the components to get it just right for you.

Book Online

All of the A-Lodge's vans can be booked online, making for an easy trip planning experience. See the rates upfront, secure your dates, and check availability months into the future.

Picking up the van is a breeze, too. The A-Lodge will have your camper ready for you on the date and time you reserve (pickups and drop-offs are available daily, by appointment, between the hours of 10:00 am and 4:00 pm). Plus, you can stay the night for free in the A-Lodge's Boulder parking lot after picking up your rental, which will give you plenty of time to get stocked up for your road trip.

Hit the Road

Unlike other van rental options, with A-Lodge, you can keep the van for as long as you'd like and travel anywhere within the continental United States. The rental includes 100 miles per day in the rental fee, and any additional mileage is $.35 per mile.

So let's say you pick up the van in Boulder and went climbing in Eldorado Canyon, drove to Durango for the great eats, headed to Ouray for a soak, and checked out the mountain biking in Fruita before returning to Boulder seven days later. If you drove those 800 miles in seven days, you would have 100 extra miles for an additional charge of $35.

Wherever you go, travel in comfort and style with an Adventure Van from A-Lodge. Are you ready to road trip?
