Explore Brimham Rocks
Summerbridge, United Kingdom
Description
Added by Korey Taylor
Explore this incredible and unique area of balancing rocks and other rock formations that have been sculpted by wind, ice, and rain over the last few millions of years.
Brimham Rocks is protected by the National Trust of the UK and offers a fun day trip of balancing rocks that stand around 30 feet tall. There is also a series of walking paths throughout the entire site so you can choose which area you'd like to explore. Don't be afraid to get close - climbing on these rocks is permitted! While I was visiting I even took a sack lunch to eat while sitting on top of one of the rocks to enjoy the view.
Pro tip: Entry into the park is free but parking can be costly. If you're traveling on a budget, there is plenty of legal roadside parking to avoid that cost. Or there are tons of bike paths to cycle to this location too!

Reviews
Nice day (weather does not affect the fun just take correct attire) Good berry pickings at right time of year. Very interesting rock forms. Great for hide and seek. Cafe good quality food but perfect place for a picnic.
