Hike along the coast and view various seabirds including gannets, puffins, and seagulls.
About an hour away from York, the RSPB Bempton Cliffs are great for birding, walking along the coast, and if you are lucky, seeing some grey seals and harbor porpoises swimming below. The RSPB has great talks about all the birds to give you a better overview of what you're looking at.
Walk along the Flamborough Headland for as long as you would like and return to the RSPB center. No set amount of miles.
