There are 3 gulches you can go up from the White Pine Trailhead. Maybird is by far the least visited. The parking is located just below Snowbird (40.575579, -111.680913) follow the trailhead from the parking lot, which is just behind the outhouse. The trail splits where you can either go to White Pine Lake or Red Pine Lake. Follow the trail towards the Red Pine Lakes. You will follow that trail for a while and it will begin the get steep. About 3 miles into your ascent there will be a bridge on your right. You cant miss it. It is literally the only one once you get past the junction between White Pine and Red Pine. Go over the bridge and follow that trail and it is an easy to follow trail to the lake. This lake is not as big as the others in the area, but gives you a great view of the Pfeifferhorn, which I recommend hiking if you can handle it.

This canyon is part of the Lone Peak Wilderness Area, so fires and dogs are not allowed.
