Enjoy a night or two at one of Moab's best campsites.

Just 25 minutes from the town of Moab and even less from the Island in the Sky district of Canyonlands National Park and Dead Horse Point State Park (the lookout photo above is from this point), this location is pretty ideal. Great options for mountain biking (like the Intrepid Trails, Shafer Trail, Mag 7, and many more), hiking, whitewater rafting, photography, and off-roading are nearby.

Each site comes with a picnic table, a grill, and there are vault toilets on site. Bonus: pet friendly! Sites are quite private, each one mostly surrounded by juniper trees.

Sites are first come, first serve and cost $15 per night. There is also a group site you can reserve here that accommodates 20 people and is $60 a night.

Note: this site does not come equipped with amazing dutch oven lasagna. For that you'll have to hit up the all-star guides at Western Spirit - ask for Tim and Zoey!

Camp at Horsethief Campground Reviews

Nice spot to camp between Arches and Canyonlands. Popular with mountain bikers and hikers. Sites are clean and the camp hosts are friendly. Good birdwatching!

This was the perfect "base camp" for mountain biking the Moab area, and it had great access to both Canyonlands NP and Dead Horse SP. Amazing images, Adam!

This was an ideal campsite for a few days of mountain biking and exploring Moab.
