This is a super mellow hike easily done by the whole family. Your effort is well worth it as you are rewarded with petroglyphs and views.

This is an awesome hike that everyone in my family was able to do with ease. We didn't see many people on the trail and it was peaceful with great views the whole way. From the trail head you will go through a small gate and continue on the trail to the left. There is some slight elevation gain for about 0.3 miles then you reach a spot where the trails split 3 ways. Continue on the trail to your left and closest to you. For the next 1.6 miles the trail is pretty straightforward as you hike up alongside a gorge where you can take some pictures. Keep going and you will reach a few switchbacks. You are almost there! Continue until you reach another gate. Just behind the gate and off the trail there is some rocks you walk onto where you will find the petroglyphs. This is a great spot to stop and have lunch and enjoy the views. The trail does continue but this is the point where most turn around. This trail is dog friendly and you can mountain bike if you would like. Overall this is a great family friendly hike that shouldn't take too much effort but is well worth it. Make sure to pack out any trash and keep places like this beautiful.
