Great trails for beginning mountain bikers. It also has access to Ann's Trail that can take you to more advanced rides.

The Little Valley Instructional Trails is a great place to learn the basic skills of mountain biking. From the trailhead, you can take the 0.2 mile Main Line which is the easiest option to reach the Little Valley Loop Trail. This is a double track, two-way multi-use trail that is rated as beginner. Other options that are a little bit more challenging are the 0.4 mile C Line and the 0.2 mile D Line. Both of these are single track, two-way multi-use trails that are rated as intermediate. Once you reach the top, you can go down the trails you went up or you could take the A Line or B Line. The A Line is a 0.2 mile downhill only bike trail rated as beginner. The B Line is a 0.2 mile downhill only bike trail rated as intermediate. There are a lot of options to take and it is a great place to learn the basics of mountain biking.

*The location provided is a the Potato Hill Trailhead. This is because the Little Valley Trails are new and it has not updated on maps yet. The Little Valley Trailhead and parking lot is just on the other side of the street. To get to Little Valley from Potato Hill, take Ann's Trail until you reach the tunnel. Once through the tunnel, the fork in the trail to Little Valley is about 200 feet south.*
