Description

Added by Shalee Blackmer

An easy Zion hike that takes you deep into the Kolob Canyon by following Taylor Creek.

This is a five mile out-and-back hike in the northwest corner of Zion National Park. Those looking to hike this trail will need to pay the park entrance fee of $30.

Begin the trail from the first large parking lot inside the park. It is a simple yet stunning hike that includes river hopping much of the way. Along the route are two wooden cabins in their original state from 1930.

The trail follows the Kolob Canyon, with much of the hike being in between two 1,500 foot cliffs. If hiking in the spring or fall, layer your clothing as the temperature inside the canyon drops dramatically.
