Breathtaking views of Bryce Canyon. Relativity short 3.5 mile hike. This is one of the best ways to see the famous hoodoos.

There are many many trails that explore the hoodoos of Bryce Canyon and this is just one option of a combination of trails that is about 3.5 miles. The Navajo trail begins at Sunset Point and you head straight down dozens of switchbacks to what is called "Wall Street". It doesn't take long to get to the bottom on the canyon. The trail is well traveled and you definitely won't have it to yourself.

There are several trail options once you are in the hoodoos, they are well-marked with mileage, so depending on your stamina and time constraints, you can explore as much or as little as you want to. At the junction from Navajo Trail, we took the Queens Garden trail to turn the hike into a loop so that we did not return the same way that we came. The trail wanders through stunning hoodoos, tunnels and has dozens of view points of other parts of the park. The trail ends ends at Sunrise Point where there is a 1/2 mile paved path that will take you back to Sunset Point where you started.

There are backcountry campgrounds within the hoodoos, but as far as I know there are not any on this specific hike that I described. This area can be accessed in the winter, but it will be covered in snow so you must plan accordingly.

Navajo Loop and Queens Garden Trail Reviews

Easy hike and beautiful views! The hoodoos are breathtaking! Make sure to stay on trail, I wandered off and ended up in a pee/poo area :(

This trail loops through the canyon full of unique rock formations and hoodoos. The views and scenery was amazing. So many places to stop and snap a photo.

This was the 1st hike we did in Bryce and was fabulous!!! I would 100% recommend! Beautiful.

Just finished this one and it was great! Decent hike and very fun

Easily the most popular loop in Bryce Canyon. Everyone wants to see the famous Wall Street and for good reason. Really unique and fun to walk through it. Be prepared to share the trail with a lot of people no matter what season it is.

The hoodoos are very unusual and cool. Wall Street was closed off on our trip there due to rock fall, so be aware that this could happen. Still, pretty great hike through the canyon. Not a ton to see in Bryce Canyon in my opinion, but this is one of the must do trails there.
