As the highest trail in Bryce Canyon National Park, this easy hike provides stunning views down into the canyon.

The trail begins from the South side of the parking lot and is well marked with signs and information placards. Walk for approximately 5 minutes before reaching the intersection where the two ends of the loop come together. This loop can be done in either direction so you can take your pick. The trail has several small ups and downs but is generally very easy and doable for people of all skill types. Along the trail you'll get amazing views down into Bryce Canyon and also see some Bristlecone Pine trees that are over 1,600 years old. Great for families and anyone looking for any easier trail!

It's worth it to drive to this far end of Bryce as early as possible. I had been to Bryce a number of times but had never driven to this point. I was here in July 2019, and the parking lot was empty. The views at Rainbow Point are stunning so check the views first, then start your day with this short and sweet one mile hike, then work your way back to the Visitors Center.
