Starting at Devils Garden Trailhead, Partition Arch is one of the several incredible works of art created by nature along this path.
Hiking to Partition Arch begins at Devils Garden Trailhead which is at the end of the 16 mile Arches Scenic Drive road. Make sure to get to the trailhead early for 2 reasons: beating crowds and beating the heat. Arriving at sunrise will almost guarantee you a parking spot. Budget 2-3 hours round trip for this hike, though it may go longer because there are several other incredible arches to see along the hiking trail. Picking up a trail map at the visitor center will help you navigate to Partition Arch as well as all the other arches along the way. The trail can sometimes become ambiguous so paying attention to the map and trail markers is essential.
If you have more time, you can add on the full Devils Garden Primitive Loop (5 miles) and see many of the arches in the park.
