Holy Guacamole offers a great Combination of Slickrock and Single Track Riding with incredible views into Zion National Park.
This incredibly scenic ride is just out of Zion National Park and is a great place to escape the tourists. The ride starts at the end of Dalton Wash Rd just off of Route 9. High clearance vehicles are recommended and one should not attempt to drive this road in wet conditions. If you are having trouble finding a campsite in the park itself, camping is allowed at the top of the Guacamole Mesa.
From fast flow single track to slick rock riding, this trail has a plethora of cross country mountain biking features. There are many different trail options in this area, but the most common route is to do the outer loop. The trail gets progressively more technical the further you ride. Watch out for wire wrapped cairns to find your way through the route. It is recommend to go to the local bike shop in Springdale or Hurricane for a trail map. Perhaps the most scenic part of the ride is at the far end of the loop. This ride takes you right on the edge of the mesa for spectacular views of the surrounding area.
