Description

Avoid the crowds and get amazing shots of one of Utah's most iconic arches.

First and foremost: Don't attempt to climb the arch at night. It's potentially unsafe and the BLM has banned roped activities meaning that you would have to go ropeless. Save this activity for the daytime or avoid it altogether.

This is a quick 1.5 mile one-way hike to the arch. The trail is well-marked, easy to follow, and only gains 440 feet. Although it's an easy trail to this scenic view, it often can get overlooked by people heading to Delicate Arch. If you're staying in Moab, head out around or after sunset and take the quick hike to this arch, which is also adjacent to bow tie arch. Remember to bring a headlamp for the hike back.

Night Photography at Corona Arch Reviews

This arch will be uncrowned and the stars are great at night. The hike is not super difficult to follow.

We went there to take pictures and it was just divine. We had the place to ourselves for most of the 4 hours we were there. Easy hike, and we didn't even need our headlamps at night since the moon was very bright. Amazing.
