Zero approach, belay from your car. Over one hundred routes ranging in difficulty and style and only fifteen minutes from downtown Moab.  Also within close proximity to Arches and Canyonlands National Parks and make sure to checkout the Petroglyphs (look for large "Indian Writing" sign on wall).

Moab's Wall Street is exactly what it sounds like, but nothing like the "Wall Street" you're familiar with. Several miles off Highway 279, it hugs the Colorado River on one side and a towering 500ft sandstone wall littered with climbing routes on the other. There is easy access to all of the climbing here and plenty of parking right along the routes. Bring your camp chairs to sit in while others are climbing. The views of the canyon and the Colorado river are gorgeous and it is an amazing spot for all day climbing or just a quick route.

Wall Street provides a variety of climbing routes and styles equally suited for beginner and veteran climbers. Do a few laps up and down the climbing section of the road until you find a spot that works for your group. It can be crowded at times, but there is plenty of wall to go around. Find a spot, set up mini camp and explore the routes in your area before moving on to the next. This wall gets really hot on warmer days, so be sure to go early in the day or in the evening when you can chase shade. Fall, winter and spring are best for climbing here as summer is too hot for the most part.

There are both traditional and sport routes and some routes that require both gear.

This book (recently updated) is extremely helpful in navigating the routes at Wall Street and all over the state of Utah.

To get to Wall Street from Moab, head North on Hwy 191, cross the bridge over the Colorado River, and make a left on Hwy 279 (AKA Potash Road). If you are coming south on Hwy 191, make your first right after passing the entrance into Arches National Park onto Hwy 279. Drive a couple miles until you see Wall Street. Trust me - you'll see it.

Here is more info on nearby campgrounds along the Colorado River.

Rock Climbing Moab's Wall Street Reviews

This gets crowded but if you can find a spot then it is worth checking out. Cool petroglyphs at the end!!

You can literally belay from your car on many climbs here which makes this spot extremely popular. The easier classics can have top ropes set up on for quite a bit making getting to this area early or during the off season a priority if you want to do those. If you have the time though there is much better climbing up the various canyons down Potash.

Wall Street is a great place to go climbing with all levels of climbing. Super close to camp sites too.

I loved the afternoon I spent climbing here! We got here a little late on a weekend afternoon so didn't have many spots to pick from, so gettig here a bit early is key to find some versatile routes!

There are a decent amount of sport climbs here as well! It's location to the Colorado river is also perfect for a midday swim/wading cool off if it gets too hot! Also did the nearby Big Bend Boulders on the same trip to mix it up.
