Description

Added by The Outbound Collective

Mount Pigsah is a gorgeous hike in Willoughby State Forest with scenic views of Lake Willoughby.

The hike to Mount Pigsah is 4.1 miles out and back, just outside of Westmore, Vermont. The trail is most commonly used from March through October, but some people traffic this trail in the winter with crampons and sturdy hiking boots. This is an incredibly dog friendly trail.

Be aware that there are two trails: North and South, which do not connect at the bottom. The South trailhead has the main parking lot. No matter which trail you take, you’ll come across multiple viewpoints - all of which are incredible.

Pretty good vertical hike. Not many switchbacks or flat areas. Some good views of the lake and surrounding area.
