Description

Limberlost Trail is a wonderfully accessible trail in Shenandoah National Park.
The Limberlost Trail is a loop trail within Shenandoah National Park. It is classified as 'accessible' as the trail is flat and has features that would help those in a wheelchair or with other needs access the trail (boardwalk, bridge, benches). There is little-to-no elevation change and the path is very clear of roots and rocks.
You can enter the trail directly from the parking lot to the right of the cement post. If you walk on the trail in late spring or early summer you'll be rewarded with Mountain Laurel everywhere. Also, keep your eye out for bunnies, chipmunks, deer, and squirrels.
You'll cross over other trails but stay on the Limberlost Trail. The trail is well marked with signs. After 1.3 you'll end back at the parking lot.

Reviews
Incredibly well maintained, flat, with limited elevation change. The perfect trail for families with small children or the elderly. I've been lucky enough to see quite a bit of wildlife around this trail as well, so keep your eyes peeled!
