A scenic day hike that offers beautiful views and a side trip to a waterfall.

This hike starts out on old logging road, with two miles of easy hiking through a forest and meadow. The trail then starts to gain elevation, leading to a lookout over Middle Fork Snoqualmie. Keep an eye out for a side trail to Teneriffe Falls, as well, although the way to the small overlook can be slippery and steep.

Back on the main trail, turn right at the intersection after the creek crossing. From the summit, enjoy panoramic views of Snoqualmie Valley before heading back down.

This is a great option for people who want a great workout and want to skip the crowds associated with Mt. Si or Mailbox Peak. Super long - my dad and I were both exhausted at the end. Reminded me of Paradise -> Muir on Rainier, to be honest. Only snow on the top portion of the trail as of 12/10, but microspikes and trekking poles highly recommended year-round... This is steep and the higher you go, the looser the dirt and rocks. Echoing what Jason said below, your day isn't complete without Scotts Dairy Freeze (try the blackberry milkshake).

This hike is a must do! It is pretty difficult however. After the falls it's pretty much at a 15%-20% gradient to the top. But the views are breath taking and the way to the top is magical! I did bring my pup with me, which I would not recommend. There are some rock faces you have to climb up...so that was challenging to say the least. The view at the top is a 360 view. If you're reading, GO!! you'll love it :)

Although this one is a haul, it's definitely worth the extra effort for a little solitude and better views than nearby Mt Si. Some of the best views are to be had from the summit of Mt Teneriffe, with peaks such as Mt Rainier, Glacier Peak, and even Mt Baker visible on a clear day. And don't forget to stop at either North Bend Bar & Grill or Scott's Dairy Freeze for some great post hike eats.
