Description

Easy Trail to walk, run, hike and bike (7 miles roundtrip). A view of Mount Rainer on a clear day. There are spots to take some amazing pics of the the River and Falls. For a family who is just starting to hike, this would be a great experience.

When heading to the adventure, stopped at the ranger station in Carbon to get your day pass ($5.00) and then continue on to the trailhead. Park on the road next to the Carbon river around. Start the hike down an old paved road that eventually leads through some trails and then to a gravel road. This was about 2.5 miles or so to get to the trailhead for the Ranger Falls.

From the trailhead, it's an easy, 1-mile-long walk through spectacular old-growth forest to spellbinding Ranger Creek Falls, just off the main trail. The coordinates for the falls are 46.9924, -121.8506. Once you get there, be sure to stop and enjoy the pounding waters. To get back to you car, head back the way you came.

Hike to Rainier NP's Ranger Falls Reviews

It was a perfect hike, not hot but cloudy but no rain. You get here from Buckley carbonado area, not ashford. It's about 2-2.5 miles on a road/trail, then 1 mile to the falls all switchback up hill, then another .8 miles to green lake

Super easy to follow trails, great wilderness along the way. This hike is great to spend the day outdoors and is great for beginners or anyone that just wants a leisure hike through the wilderness. Oss!
