Description

Get your photo of this North Cascades Landmark and take in the lush turquoise/green water color.

Diablo Lake is a reservoir in the North Cascades created by Diablo Dam. The hue of the lake is created by ground up rocks from local glaciers, which end up drifting down streams into the lake.

If you’ve decided to take in the viewpoints driving Hwy 20 through the park, be sure to check out Liberty Bell as well.

If you’re up for being more active and moving around, check out Trappers Peak / Thornton Lake

Diablo Lake Reviews

This is a great stop if you're exploring the North Cascades (even if you just pull over for the overlook area). The lake has an incredible color and there are lots of hiking and camping opportunities in the area. Don't miss it!

A great place to see some amazing views for all ages and activity levels. You can also find pit toilets and a covered picnic area. A must-do if you're traveling through the park!

this is easily one of the most beautiful lakes i've ever seen! an absolute must during the summer because the color of the water is unreal.

This quick stop off Highway 20 is a must-do if you're in the park. The color of Diablo Lake is just incredible. And with no effort required, you'd be crazy not to have a look!

Definitely one of my favorite views in the North Cascades National Park and is very easily accessible. If your driving through the park or area this is a must see stop!

This is worth doing!
