Remarkable 2.1-mile loop along 150-foot cliffs, springs, and forested terraces with incredible views of Green Bay from Eagle Terrace and Eagle Panorama.
The loop begins at the parking lot of Eagle Bluff/Panorama and immediately descends 200 feet along the Green Bay coast. While paralleling the shoreline, you'll have a chance to explore caves, get your feet wet on the shores of Green Bay, and wander through white cedar forests. The hike is moderately strenuous due to the uneven hiking surfaces along the rocky bluffs and over exposed roots. After hiking along the shore, the trail leads you back up the bluff through the woods. Be sure to stop at Eagle Terrace for incredible bay views of Horseshoe Island and across to Ephraim, before finishing off the final leg of the loop back to Eagle Panorama.
The hike is dog friendly and has convenient parking at Eagle Panorama. In the Spring, the trails should be lined with beautiful wildflowers, and in the winter, the trail is open for snowshoeing or cross-cross country skiing.
