About this place

Added by Kendall Jukka

This is a beautiful hike located in central Hartford WI. The isle of pine trees and the view of the lake from the bridge offers you a romantic, or peaceful setting. It is very family and dog friendly and makes for a nice and relaxing adventure.

Starting from county rd K you turn in on Emerald Drive . at the start of Emerald drive is an old and tiny cemetery. Travel all the way on Emerald drive until you reach a sign that says Emerald Lot which is where you park, you can go left or right along the Ice age trail that crosses all across WI. If you go right it will lead you through an isle of pine trees and you can follow the trail to a bridge over the lake! If you go straight it goes along the ice age trail. If its winter its not fully plowed! The beautiful lake is filled with fish so if you wish you can do that in summer and winter! The path is clearly marked without snow and is a fun escape from town while still being close to home! The area is beautiful, romantic, and has a nice view of the surroundings on top of a small hill you can hike up!
