Description

Added by Derek Mathewson

...If you're in the Casper Wyoming area and want to spend a little time out in nature, this fairly short hike will take you to an unexpected waterfall called Garden Creek Falls.

The trail starts in Rotary Park, but there's no cost to enter or park your vehicle. From there the trail will lead you to an 80+ft. multi-tiered waterfall! When you start your hike, you can either take the .2 mile easy round-trip hike to the base of the falls, or you can take the loop trail that's 1.3 miles. The loop trail is considered moderately challenging, but will offer some scenic views of the waterfall and the town of Casper in the distance. It's a popular trail for hikers, walkers and trail runners. Pets are allowed, just please make sure to clean up after them and have them on a leash. Other than that, it's a pretty easy hike with some rewarding views. Once you're done, take a seat on some of the provided benches, as well as the public restrooms.

As always, pack it in and pack it out, and keep exploring!
