Visiting Sequoia National Park is one of the best locations to to head to during the summer season. You get to cool off and enjoy 70 degree weather during the day with 40-50 degree weather at night. The trees are gorgeous and tower overhead providing the best shade. Wildlife is everywhere and most always present. You can enjoy a hike, a walk, a swim in a nearby creek or river, all within 5 minutes of you. Or you can explore longer hikes and enjoy beautiful scenery.

Dorst Creek Campground sits at about 6,800 ft. so be sure to bring plenty of water to help you adjust to the altitude.
