Baker Campground is a beautiful and popular campground nestled on the Stanislaus River, with access to Kennedy Meadows and the Emigrant Wilderness trail system.

Baker Campground is a first come, first serve campground. Each site is equipped with a fire ring, picnic table, and bear boxes. The cost for a single family site is $20 per night and a double family site is $40 per night. The campground provides bathrooms and potable water. The campground is typically open from May - October. If you wish to use a grill, stove, or make a campfire, it is recommended to obtain a free campfire permit from a ranger station or from this site. Pets are allowed but must be kept on leash. There are no RV hookups at this campground. 

The campground is close to a variety of trailheads and is located north of Yosemite National Park in Stanislaus National Forest.

It was so beautiful and so serene. I’m just sorry it’s not open all year. It was an awesome respite. Jerry, the camp host, was quite nice and he kept the grounds in great shape! Can’t wait to go back!!
