Big Sandy Campground is a best-kept secret, perfect for campers who are looking for a bit of solitude in gorgeous Sierra National Forest. Directly adjacent to Big Creek, this campground is host to a variety of activity options.
This campground is a great location to stay if you wish to do a day trip into Yosemite National Park or Sequoia National Park. The campground operates on a first-come, first-serve basis. Each camp site comes equipped with a picnic table, fire ring, and grill. The campground provides bathrooms, but bring extra potable water for drinking and cooking. The fee for a single site is $26, and the additional vehicle fee is $7/night. Dogs are allowed for $2/night. Big Sandy Campground is generally open from May - November.
