We had a little trouble finding the narrow stairway down to the beach. It's surrounded by fancy homes and all have no trespassing signs warning away tourists. That being said, next to Smith Rock, Cannon Beach was my second favorite location when we visited Oregon. I loved how dog friendly it was and all of the sand dollars washed up on the shore. Photography-wise you want to make sure you go during the golden hour; it enhances the rocks so much.

The hills are beautiful, but I couldn't help but think how stunning they'd be beneath the sun. We went on a cloudy day, it was the only chance we had while in Oregon and I had to really edit my photographs to bring out the color.

Make sure you bring a BRIGHT lantern of some kind; it was super cool, but very hard to see. Definitely worth seeing, but I'd say it's a one time thing. We had the misfortune of going on a day when a junior high field trip was also exploring the caves, which made it a bit crowded than it might've otherwise been.

Definitely the highlight of our trip through Oregon. This place was magnificent! We went early in the morning, which turned out to be a good thing, as by noon the parking lot was full. My husband hiked Misery Ridge, while my daughter and I stuck to the River Trail; both were gorgeous, providing completely different views and photos. I highly recommend this place!

Touristy as all get out! The falls are breathtaking, no doubt about it, but parking is awful and there were so many people it was impossible to get a shot without someone photobombing you. The Outbound photos made this place look super serene, but the photographer chose to go either early in the morning or late in the evening to avoid the crowds. We went on Friday, around noon and there were TONS of people.

I enjoyed this spot the most out of the waterfalls we visited on our trip through Oregon. It was lovely and a lot less tourist-y than Multnomah. If you want to get good shots, make sure to bring a camera with a wide angle lens. I only had my iPhone with me and while I did manage to get a full shot using pano and tilting my phone horizontal, it was a pain and the shot could have been a lot better.

This place is definitely a lot prettier in photographs than in person. I was really excited about this stop on our road trip from Washington to Oregon, but this spot was really underwhelming to me. Hindsight 20/20, I probably would have gone somewhere else.
