A gorgeous Bermudian Bay teeming with tropical fish and rock creatures!

This bay shows all that the natural beauty of Bermuda has to offer! The little island is known for its turquoise water and pink sand, which are beautifully on display here, but it has something extra - tons of porous rock full of shells and chitins!

When you come to Church Bay, you'll be up on a hill looking down on a water. A plaque will tell you a little bit more about the bay before you head down the grassy weaving trail down to the water. There are so many large, porous rock formations to climb and explore! With careful observation, you may find chitins, some bermuda land snails, and large crabs! This bay is also known as one of the best snorkeling locations on the island, however, you don't have to rent equipment to see the fish! The water is so clear that if you just walk up to the pools pouring in near the rock formations, you'll see a variety of different and vibrantly colored fish! Take some extra time to see how many different shells you can find in the soft pink sand. Also keep your eyes open as you head back up the stairs - we found a small lizard and even some cacti! It's the perfect place for peaceful beach-side exploration!
