Nestled in the breathtaking landscape of Mammoth Lakes, California, lies a hidden gem known as Rock Tub Hot Springs. Tucked away off Highway 395, visitors can immerse themselves in the soothing warmth of natural hot springs while surrounded by the serene beauty of the Eastern Sierra mountains. The road to the pool can be accessed by most vehicles but 4WD is recommended after recent wet weather.
Pool:
There is a single rock pool looking out at the mountains of the Eastern Sierra, which can fit up to 8 people. The temperature is around 100 degrees. The pool can be cleaned by users if you choose to use one of the provided brushes to help remove the algae.
Amenities:
Camping is not permitted at the springs, but you can camp on the nearby forest service land. There are no additional amenities nearby. It's best to stock up on essentials in Mammoth Lakes if needed.
