Observatory Trail Reviews

Even though this hike is in the middle of the city, you’ll still see a lot of wildlife around. If you’re hiking with small dogs, make sure they are on leash and be aware of your surroundings. On this particular hike, we encountered coyotes in the distance. So, if you’re hiking in the early mornings, might be a good idea to walk with hiking sticks just in case. With the drought here in California, all the animals are looking for any opportunity for easy prey. Still, a good hike and can be steep at times and you’ll get a great view of the observatory above.
