Wonderful spot to camp and spend the day swimming. You can launch straight from lone rock beach which is convenient if you've rented a kayak or paddle board. It should be noted that in the summer months this spot is pretty popular so make sure to arrive early to secure a nice spot.

My boyfriend and I rented a kayak and headed into antelope canyon for the day. Such a fun way to explore the canyon. It took us about 4.5 hours total with taking plenty of stops and eating lunch. Highly recommend

My boyfriend and I did this hike this past weekend and camped at Rogers Lake (a few blisters stopped us from getting to Heart Lake). However, Rogers Lake was a great place to set up camp as it was quiet and pristine (there were about 3 other tents around the lake)! For those who are experienced hikers and want to dip their toes in backpacking, this is a great hike to do so!

Fun hike! We did it early June and there was some snow towards the end of the hike but was doable with just our hiking boots. Once we got to the lake, there were plenty of quite and private spots along the lake to relax and take in the views. Perfect spot for lunch!

Words can't describe how incredible this spot is. Get here early!!! We arrived at 10:45am and got the last spot right on the lake's edge facing the mountains (there were other spots but were further from the lake). It should be noted that the sun hits the east rim of the lake (closest to the mountain face) an hour later than the western side. Couldn't have picked a better spot to camp.

What a hike. Took us about 5 hours from the trailhead to upper lake and back. Wildflowers, waterfalls, creeks, mountains, and lakes! What more could you want?! The views were unbelievable. Do note that it can get chilly and windy at middle and upper lake. Definitely bring a jacket/sweater!

Great hike! You get to experience everything Big Sur has to offer in one hike-- redwoods, falls, open valley, and the ocean. This hike is the highlight of Big Sur; can't be missed!
