Every third weekend in October they have the encampment. It’s really fun and lots of artisans set up and the food it also really good. I recommend the cream soda and buffalo chili if you do go

Hike Hematite Lake

A friend and I went as our first hike and it was really nice. We did go a couple days after it rained so it was a little muddy. It was an easy hike and very pretty. We saw a snake (I believe a cottonmouth) so just stay aware of your surroundings even though it’s an easy hike.
