I recently checked out this loop in the Pisgah on a warm rainy December day. On this loop you will see a waterfall (w/ a nearby campsite!), a very cool rock outlook, and lots of river crossings and campsites throughout. I will definitely return to camp soon. The trailhead is by the trout hatchery fyi.
