Tubbs Hill features a 2 mile loop trail that winds along the shoreline of Lake Coeur d'Alene and through an Inland Northwest pine forest. Tubbs Hill Reviews

If you're looking for a more "outdoors" experience at the beach, this is a great option in Coeur d'Alene. There are several beaches off the main trail to hike down to and spend a sunny afternoon. There's also a rope swing off the trail if you want to get in the water with a splash.

Start on the Sanders Beach side (park here: ~800 S 10th St) if you're looking for some beautiful, less-busy hideaway beaches to spend the day.

My absolute favorite "in-town" park. Come here every week. Love it in the off season, but crowded in the summer (of course!).
