The wife and I took a drive to France Park, just to see what it was about. And it did not disappoint! There are 3 lakes, 1 is made from an old rock quarry and has the most gorgeous water! There is a beach that is very well maintained (if you have sensitive feet, you may want to wear sandals or water shoes). You can swim and they offer scuba diving as well. There is a 4 mile trail around the perimeter that offers very diverse scenery and terrain. It has camping facilities as well that we will be coming back to enjoy later this fall. Overall, very great experience!
