Lake MacBride Natture Recreation Area is a lightly trafficked loop hike.
Lake Macbride Nature Recreation Area is a 2.4 mile loop hike where you may see beautiful wild flowers located near North Liberty, Iowa. Lake Macbride loop only has 144 feet of elevation making it suitable for any age and skill level. There are beautiful meadows of wildflowers that can be viewed from the trail and forests surrounding. The trail has a wide path with lots of room fro hikers, runners, and walkers.
If you visit Lake MacBride Nature Recreation Area it is likely that you will observe lots of birds. There is also a little section near the Coralville lake where you can see views of the water.
Note that there was previous flooding that washed away part of the trail. Currently it has dried and the trial was found again. Beware if it rains it may happen again.

Beautiful park around Lake Macbride with lots of areas to hike. There are swings located around the area that allow for great sights while you sit. Easy access from Iowa City or Cedar Rapids!
